The MSJC women's golf team has maintained their fifth place position in the Orange Empire Conference golf standings through six conference events.
The Eagles most recently shot a 402 on Wednesday September 25th at St. Mark's Golf Club in OEC match #6 which was hosted by Palomar. So far this season MSJC's best team score has been a 363 which they carded on September 16th at Arroyo Trabuco. The Eagles are currently 15-27 in conference competition which has kept them ahead of Palomar, Orange Coast, and Fullerton in the standings. College of the Desert leads the league with a perfect 42-0 record.
Individually Danielle White has led the way for MSJC, she currently is 20th in the league with an average score of 95.8. Her best round of the conference season was at Arroyo Trabuco where she shot an 86. Right behind her for the Eagles is Makerita Hall, who is 21st in the OEC individual standings with an average score so far this season of 96.4, her best round also came at Arroyo Trabuco when she carded a 91. Andrea Sanchez (99.2), Sabrina Villalpando-Perez (100.3), Kylien Gunnell (105), and Marilu Godinez (124) round out the Eagle averages to this point.
The Eagles will return to action on Wednesday October 2nd when they travel to Los Serranos. There are three regular season OEC matches remaining until MSJC takes part in the Orange Empire Tournament October 28th and 30th.
