Eagles Head Into Final Week Winning 3 of 4
The MSJC baseball team has won three of their last four games as they enter the final week of the regular season.

The MSJC baseball team has won three of their last four games as they enter the final week of the regular season.
The Eagles most recent victory came at home on Friday where they grabbed a walk-off extra inning win over College of the Desert. The two teams were tied at 2-2 after nine innings before the Eagles took advantage of a Roadrunner error to win the game. In the bottom of the tenth the Eagles loaded the bases with one out before a possible double play ball hit to third base turned into a throwing error allowing the winning run to cross the plate. MSJC got a solid starting pitching performance in the win as Gavin Warner threw six innings allowing just one run. Marcos Cisneros would eventually earn the win as he threw a scoreless top of the tenth. Rayn Rangel had two RBIs to lead the offense.
The Eagles were coming off a tough 9-4 loss to Cerro Coso. In that game Matt Rezkalah, Kaden Spencer, and Luke O'Brien each had an RBI.
The week prior MSJC picked up a league win over San Bernardino Valley on a non-conference road win at LA Harbor. Against SBVC Justin Granado had two hits and two RBIs while Jordan Moskal also drove in a pair of runs. Warner had another solid outing on the mound as he went six shutout innings to earn the victory.
Juni Rodriguez was the offensive star against Harbor as he collected four hits including a homerun while driving in two. Steven Felipe added a triple and an RBI.
The Eagles who now stand at 17-21 overall and 13-9 in IEAC action have two games left to play this week. Tuesday MSJC will celebrate their 2025 sophomores prior to a home game against Barstow. Thursday the Eagles will travel to Victor Valley. Tuesday's Sophomore Recognition will begin at approximately 1:30 p.m. with first pitch scheduled for two.
