Beach Headed to Team Regionals
The MSJC Beach Volleyball team will take part in the 3C2A Team Regional Tournament next Tuesday for the first time in program history.

The Eagles, who finished the season with an overall record of 12-12 and a conference mark of 7-7, will travel to Oceanside to take on Mira Costa and Mt. SAC. MSJC finished fourth in the Pacific Coast Athletic Conference standings and earned the number eleven seed for the Region.
Last week the Eagles competed in the PCAC pairs tournament with the team's number one duo of Josephine Springer and Korie Milan finishing as runners-up. The duo of Amari Ramirez and Sienna Vitelli also made the PCAC all-conference team.
MSJC will enter the regional having split a pair of matches against fellow PCAC member Mira Costa. The Eagles defeated the Spartans 3-2 on March 21st and lost to MCC 4-1 on April 4th. MSJC and Mt. SAC squared off earlier in the season as well with the Mounties winning back in late January 3-2. Mira Costa will host Tuesday's action as the number three seed in the region, Mt. SAC, is seeded sixth.
The Eagles will start the day at 10 am against Mira Costa and then play Mt. SAC at approximately 11:30. Mira Costa and Mt. SAC will play the final match of the day at 1 pm. One winner will emerge from Tuesday's action and will advance to the State Championships at Long Beach City on May 8th.
