Bio

Jernard returns to MSJC for his sophomore season after playing in 22 of the Eagles’ 28 games a season ago and making one start.  He and his teammates reached the second round of the CCCAA Regional play-offs and finished the season with a 22-6 record.  Jernard recorded a career high 8 points on December 14th in a 91-65 win over Barstow he also dished out 3 assists and had a steal in the victory.

Jernard came to MSJC last year after redshirting one season at Daeman College in Amherst, NY.  In high school at Lewiston-Porter in Youngstown, NY Jernard scored over 1,000 points in his career making him only the sixth player in school history to reach that mark.  Jernard was a First Team Niagara Frontier League selection after his senior season and recorded a 50 point game that same year against Ken West HS to set a single game school record.
