The MSJC men’s basketball team roared back from a big halftime deficit on Saturday afternoon to win on the road at Santa Monica 83-81.
The MSJC men's basketball team roared back from a big halftime deficit on Saturday afternoon to win on the road at Santa Monica 83-81.
The Eagles struggled to find their offensive range in the first half as they fell behind 45-31 at the break. MSJC picked up the offensive pace in the second twenty minutes as they came all the way back to win in the final minute with the help of a balanced offensive attack.
Adrian Mosley led five players in double figures with a team high 20 points he also grabbed 7 rebounds. Tyler Frazier-Mathews added 16 points and 8 rebounds while Joseph Boddie scored 13 and handed out a game high 8 assists. Willie Miller and Kory Dodson were huge off the bench for MSJC as they combined for 21 points with Miller scoring 11 and Dodson adding 10.
The Eagles improved to 3-0 with the win as they prepare to head to Mira Costa on Wednesday for a 3 pm game. Following Wednesday's game MSJC will start a three-game homestand by hosting Palomar on Saturday at 3 pm.
