Eagles Pick Up IEAC Road Win
The MSJC men’s basketball team made the long trek to Ridgecrest on Wednesday night and came away with an Inland Empire Athletic Conference road win over Cerro Coso 66-59.

The MSJC men's basketball team made the long trek to Ridgecrest on Wednesday night and came away with an Inland Empire Athletic Conference road win over Cerro Coso 66-59.
The Eagles fell behind early but quickly found their footing as they built a lead of 38-27 by halftime. In the second half MSJC seemed to be in control, but a late run by Cerro Coso cut the lead to one at 52-51 with 5:30 to play. The Eagles answered with a 10-0 run to re-establish control and held off the Coyotes for the victory.
Willie Miller scored a team-high 19 points for the Eagles; he also grabbed 5 rebounds and had 5 assists. Adrian Mosley shook off a slow start to finish the game with 14 points and 6 rebounds. RJ Dawson also reached double figures with 12 points for MSJC while Daniel Crawford came off the bench to add 9 points on three 3-point shots.
The Eagles improved to 12-6 overall and 4-2 in IEAC games with the win. MSJC will be back in action on Saturday when they host Palo Verde in a 3 pm game.
