The MSJC men's basketball team broke open a close game late on Saturday afternoon to earn their seventh straight win as they defeated Barstow on the road 85-64.
The Eagles led by just one at half and the game stayed close through most of the second until a 12-2 run that started with just under seven minutes to play gave MSJC some breathing room.
Willie Miller and Adrian Mosley led the way on offense as they both scored a team-best 20 points. Miller added 7 rebounds and 4 assists on the afternoon. Daniel Crawford provided a much-needed spark off the bench as he finished the game with a double double scoring 15 points and pulling in a team-high 10 rebounds. RJ Dawson also reached double figures with 11 points.
The win improved the Eagles to 18-6 overall for the season and 10-2 in Inland Empire Athletic Conference play. The Wolverines are currently 12-0 in the IEAC. Wednesday's game at San Bernardino tips-off at 7 pm.
