The MSJC women's basketball team led from start to finish Wednesday night as they won at home over Barstow 106-40.
The Eagles scored the first seven points of the game and went on to build leads of 24-9 after the first quarter and 59-22 at halftime. MSJC's defense took control of the contest forcing the Vikings into 38 turnovers.
Karsen Marshall, the state's leading scorer, led the way for the Eagle offense with a game-high 29 points. Trinity Skinner came off the bench to score 19. Kohen Marshall also reached double figures with 12 and Anisa Turner added 9 points. Kiara Williams nearly had a triple double as she scored 9 points, made 11 steals, and dished out a game-best 11 assists.
The win was MSJC's 7th in a row and improved their overall record to 13-4, they are 4-0 in Inland Empire Athletic Conference games. The Eagles will be back at home on Saturday when they host San Bernardino Valley at 1 pm.
