Eagles Hit 20-Win Mark for 19th Straight Season
The MSJC women’s basketball team reached the 20-win mark for the 19th straight year on Saturday as they easily won on the road at Barstow 106-42.

The Eagles built big leads early in the game and never looked back. They led by 18 after the first quarter and 57-31 at halftime to remain unbeaten in Inland Empire Athletic Conference play at 11-0. The team improved to 20-5 overall as they move closer to their 8th straight conference title.
Saturday, Karsen Marshall, the state's leading scorer, continued to dominate play as she poured in 35 points. She also pulled down 8 rebounds and had 6 assists. Kohen Marshall also stuffed the stat sheet as she finished the afternoon with 16 points, 9 rebounds, 8 assists, and 7 steals. Amiya Singer had a very efficient game as she scored 17 points on 8 of 10 shooting from the field. Point guard Kiara Williams along with Keslyn Henson and Anisa Turner all added 8 points each in the victory. Williams ended the day with a game-high 10 assists.
MSJC has just one game on the schedule this week and three games left in the regular season. Wednesday the Eagles travel to San Bernardino for a 5 pm game. Next Wednesday, February 18th MSJC travels to Palo Verde before playing their final regular season game at home on Friday the 20th when they host Victor Valley. The Eagles currently hold a two-game lead in the conference standings over Copper Mountain.
