The Eagles, who have already clinched their 8th conference title in a row, improved to 13-0 in league games and 22-5 overall with one regular season game remaining on the schedule.
Wednesday MSJC led 24-14 after the opening quarter and then pulled away the rest of the game as they out scored Palo Verde by at least 15 in each of the next three periods.
Kohen Marshall led four Eagles in double figures with a game high 27 points, she was a very efficient 12 of 14 from the floor. The state's leading scorer Karsen Marshall was next with 25 points followed by Taniyah Hutcherson with 18 and Anisa Turner added 16. Trinity Skinner pulled in a game-high 7 rebounds and Kiara Williams dished out a game-best 11 assists.
The Eagles will honor their sophomores on Friday night when they host Victor Valley at 5 pm to wrap up the regular season. There will be a men's game to follow at 7. MSJC, who will be making their 19th straight playoff appearance, will find out their 3C2A Southern California Regional seeding and draw on Sunday.
