Eagles Look to Rebound From Tough Week
The MSJC women’s soccer team had a tough week against a couple of strong opponents as they lost a pair of matches on the road.

The MSJC women's soccer team had a tough week against a couple of strong opponents as they lost a pair of matches on the road.
Tuesday the Eagles traveled to Orange Coast where they fell behind 3-0, before a late first half goal by Jazelle Dominguez with an assist from Eileen Vargas cut into the lead. MSJC could not rally back however as each team added one second half goal each and the Pirates came away with the 4-2 win. Jalyssa Arias scored the Eagles second goal of the contest with an assist from Brooke Smith. Kimberly Estrada had six saves in goal for MSJC.
Friday MSJC could not get their offense going as they lost to Santiago Canyon 4-0. Estrada made five saves playing all ninety minutes in goal.
The Eagles who now stand at 2-4-1 on the season will look to end their three-game losing streak tonight when they host Mt. SAC at HCN Bank Stadium in Menifee. Kick-off for tonight's match is set for 6 pm.
