The MSJC volleyball team remained unbeaten in Inland Empire Athletic Conference play with a pair of sweeps over Copper Mountain and Cerro Coso.

The MSJC volleyball team remained unbeaten in Inland Empire Athletic Conference play with a pair of sweeps over Copper Mountain and Cerro Coso.
The Eagles defeated Copper Mountain 25-3, 25-12, and 25-7 this past Friday at home. Alena Magee had a team high 7 kills in the match while Kyahanna Jones passed out a team best 13 assists.
MSJC traveled to Cerro Coso on Wednesday night where they earned another 3-0 win. The Eagles were strong from the start as they won the opening set 25-8. They would go on to win the second 25-7, and the third 25-18. Megan Gajda had a match high 16 kills to lead the offense, she also collected 6 service aces. Kalia Anady had a big night on both sides of the net as she recorded 21 assists and picked up 11 digs.
The Eagles improved to 10-8 overall with the wins and are now 4-0 in IEAC matches. MSJC will host Victor Valley on Friday night at 5 pm in San Jacinto.
