Cross Country Officially Kicks-Off
The MSJC women’s cross-country team officially kicked off the first season in school history on Saturday when they took part in the Cal State San Bernardino Coyote Classic.
The MSJC women's cross-country team officially kicked off the first season in school history on Saturday when they took part in the Cal State San Bernardino Coyote Classic.
The Eagles took six runners to the event and turned in an official team time of 2:09:57. The event featured a mix of four year and community colleges. Seven teams participated in the event.
The MSJC team made up of all freshmen was led by Lauren Campagna who ran the 5K race in 23:50.9. She was followed by teammates Sofia Bedolla at 24:48.2, Yvon Venegas at 25:15.5, Jordan Consuegra 27:08.2, and Ciara Cisneros at 28:54.7. Shiloh Kuhlman also started the race but did not finish.
The Eagles will be back at it next Saturday September 13th when they take part in the Cal State San Marcos Cougar Invitational.
