Eagles Fall Just Short Against First-Place SBVC
The MSJC men’s basketball team fell to conference leader San Bernardino Valley on Saturday at home in a tightly contested game 71-65.

The MSJC men's basketball team fell to conference leader San Bernardino Valley on Saturday at home in a tightly contested game 71-65.
The Eagles and Wolverines battled in a close game as neither team built a lead of larger than eight points throughout. SBVC led by one at the half 34-33.
MSJC was led on the offensive end of the floor by RJ Dawson and Adrian Mosley. Dawson scored a game-high 20 points and pulled down a team-high 11 rebounds; he scored 12 of his 20 in the first half. Mosley ended the afternoon with 18 points, 6 rebounds, and 4 assists he did most of his damage in the second half scoring 13 of his 18 over the final twenty minutes. Daniel Crawford also reached double figures off the bench with 10 points in the loss.
MSJC fell to 11-6 overall and 3-2 in Inland Empire Athletic Conference play with the loss, the Wolverines improved to 12-5 and 5-0.
The Eagles will be in action twice this week as they travel to Ridgecrest on Wednesday to take on Cerro Coso and then return home on Saturday to host Palo Verde. Wednesday's game is set for 6 pm while Saturday's game will tip-off at 3 pm.
