The Eagles started the week with a tough 1-0 loss to College of the Desert at HCN Bank Stadium on Tuesday. MSJC and the Roadrunners were locked in a scoreless battle for most of the evening until Desert finally scored the game's lone goal in the sixty-first minute. Briseida Medina played well in goal for the Eagles making five saves in her sixty-three minutes of action.
Friday MSJC traveled to Victor Valley where they earned a 2-2 draw against the Rams. Lorena Gonzalez put the Eagles ahead early in the contest as she scored an unassisted goal in the eighth minute. VVC tied the match before halftime. MSJC would once again forge ahead with a goal by Alondra Pozos in the fifty-sixth minute, but the Rams scored the equalizer just three minutes later.
