The MSJC volleyball team was dominant on Friday night earning their second straight sweep this time at Chaffey.
The Eagles won by scores of 25-16, 25-17, and 25-18 as they improved to 9-9 on the season. MSJC was led on offense by the trio of Tala Paige Gurganious, Alena Magee, and Lorna Lopez as they each knocked down a team high seven kills. Gurganious also picked up nine digs on defense. Destiny Affor had eight digs in the victory and setter Angelina Browder had 26 assists.
The Eagles who are currently in third place in the Inland Empire Athletic Conference at 3-2 have just one match on the schedule this week. MSJC will host San Bernardino Valley, who is currently unbeaten in the IEAC, on Friday. Friday's match with the Wolverines on the San Jacinto Campus will begin at 5 pm.
