Eagles Win Final Two Regular Season Matches
The MSJC volleyball team wrapped up the regular season on Wednesday night with their second straight win and now await to see if they are headed to the post-season when they announcement is made on Tuesday.

The MSJC volleyball team wrapped up the regular season on Wednesday night with their second straight win and now await to see if they are headed to the post-season when the announcement is made on Tuesday.
The Eagles finished the season with a 3-1 win at Victor Valley last week and Wednesday swept Chaffey at home on Sophomore Night.
At Victor Valley Lorna Lopez led a balanced offensive attack with a match high 12 kills, she also had 3 block assists. MSJC won the opening set 25-22, dropped the second 21-25, but easily won the third and fourth both 25-15. Tala Paige Gurganious had 10 kills and 8 digs while Daija Malcolm added 9 kills and 10 digs. Setter Angelina Browder had a match high 38 assists in the win.
Wednesday night MSJC came out fast winning the opening set against Chaffey 25-8, after winning a tough second set 26-24, the Eagles completed the sweep winning the third 25-16. Malcolm had a match best 11 kills and Alena Magee had a strong night all around with 10 kills, 2 solo blocks, and 5 block assists. Lilly Galvin picked up 11 digs on defense. Prior to the start of Wednesday's match, the team honored their five sophomores for their efforts over the past two seasons. The 2025 sophomores are Jayden Danner, Galvin, Magee, Browder, and Lopez.
The Eagles finished the season with an overall record 13-10, they were 7-3 in Inland Empire Athletic Conference matches. MSJC will find out their play-off fate on Tuesday.
